Leaders in Regenerative Medicine
These advanced therapies are done in clinic under image guidance (such as ultrasound or live x-ray) and take about one hour. Patients return home following their procedure the same day and are often able to resume light activity the following day. In the weeks following treatment, tissues begin to heal. After about 4-6 weeks, a follow up consultation is scheduled to identify and assess the patients progress and care plan.
Stem Cell Therapy
Stem Cell Therapy uses stem cells harvested from the patient’s own tissue and have the ability to renew themselves and transform into a variety of different cells. This process replaces dying cells, and regenerates tissues that are too damaged to heal on their own. Concentrated stem cells are injected in to the damaged area and can stimulate the formation of cartilage, tendon, ligaments, bone and fibrous connective tissues, to help the body heal naturally.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy utilizes platelets taken from the patient’s own blood to help rebuild damaged ligaments, tendons or cartilage. PRP therapy concentrates the patient’s platelets at a much higher volume than our bodies natural healing process. The PRP is injected into the site of the injury to initiate and quicken the healing process.
